Changing your email

If you use an email and password to manage your account 

To update your email address, follow these steps:

1. Go to your Profile settings.

2. Click on Account settings in the dropdown menu.

3. Navigate to the Change Email section and enter your new email address. Make sure to enter your password to confirm the change.

If you are unable to add the new email, it indicates that it already exists in the system and is linked to another account. In this situation, we recommend reaching out to our Support Team for assistance in freeing up the email.

If you have content associated with the new email, you can request to merge your accounts

If you use an SSO to manage your account

If you want to change the email on a Wakelet account that's currently linked to a Single Sign-On (SSO) service. Please follow these steps to successfully update your email:

  1. Reset Your Password:


    Click on the "Forgot your password?" link.

    Follow the prompts to reset your password. This step will help in removing the SSO link from your account.

  2. Log In Using Email and Password:

    After resetting your password, log in to your account using your current email address and the new password.

  3. Change Your Email Address:

    Once logged in, navigate to the 'Account Settings'.

    In the settings, you will find an option to change your email address.

    Enter your new email address and follow the prompts to update it.

Please note, after changing your email address, you will use this new email for all future logins to your Wakelet account.
