Using Wakelet Create (✨ Create with AI) in Beta.

Wakelet Create allows you to generate AI-powered content directly from the content and resources inside your Wakelet collection.

Instead of starting from scratch, Wakelet AI reads and understands the content in your curated collection and generates intelligent, context-aware outputs grounded in your chosen sources.

Users can instantly transform trusted resources into actionable outputs such as lesson plans, quizzes, feedback, reflections, summaries, cover letters, emails, and more.

This feature will be available on Pro.

How to use Wakelet Create

  1. Open any Wakelet collection.

  2. Click the ✨ Create button in the collection header (top of the page).

  3. The Wakelet Create dialog will open with a text input field where you can enter your prompt.

  4. Enter what you want Wakelet to generate.

    • Example prompts:

      • “Create a lesson plan for my Grade 6 class based on this content.”

      • “Write me a cover letter for Harvard University based on my achievements.”

      • “Grade and provide feedback this research project based on this rubric.”

  5. Click Create.

  6. After a short loading period, the generated output will appear.

What you can do with the generated content

Once the response appears, you can:

  • Copy selected text manually.

  • Click Copy to copy the full response to your clipboard

  • Click Add to collection to save the generated content as a text card

  • Click Change prompt to modify your prompt and generate a new result. Please note, if you click Change prompt, your current generated output will be permanently lost.

  • TIP: You can also use the generated output as a starting point for further prompts or edits.

Tips for better results

To get the best output:

  • Ensure your collection contains relevant and meaningful resources

  • Wakelet Create works best with between 4-15 items in the collection. Any less, and the model may not have enough content to work with.

  • Use clear prompts describing what you want created

Short prompts can work well, but if your collection has limited content, a more detailed prompt may produce better results.

Frequently asked questions

Why is Wakelet Create different from other AI generators or tools?

Wakelet Create generates responses using the content inside your collection.
This means the AI output is grounded in the resources you’ve curated, rather than relying only on a prompt.

What content does Wakelet Create use?

Wakelet Create currently analyzes the 15 most recent items in your collection when generating outputs.

Can I regenerate the same response?

No. Each AI generation is unique and cannot be recreated exactly.

Can I save the generated output?

Yes. You can:

  • Copy it to your clipboard, or

  • Add it directly to your collection as a text card.

Do I need to write a long prompt?

No. Prompts can be short or detailed. However, if your collection contains limited content, a more descriptive prompt may help produce better results.
