Whether you signed up using an email and password or through a Single Sign-On (SSO) provider like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, or Apple, this article will guide you through the steps to reset your password. Follow the instructions below based on your sign-up method. Resetting Password for Email and Password Sign-Up: 1. Open your web browser and go to wakelet.com. 2. On the homepage, click on "Login" in the top right corner of the screen. 3. You will be redirected to the login page. If you don't remember your password, click on the "Forgotten your Password?" link below the login fields. Note: If you are already logged in, you will need to log out first by clicking on your profile picture in the top right corner of the screen and selecting "Log Out." 1. You will be directed to the password reset page. Enter the email address associated with your Wakelet account. 2. Check your email inbox for a password reset email from Wakelet. If you can't find the email, make sure to check your spam or junk folder. 3. Open the email and click on the password reset link provided. 4. You will be taken to a new page where you can enter and confirm your new password. 5. Choose a strong and unique password, ensuring it contains a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters. 6. Once you've entered your new password, click on the "Reset Password" button. 7. Congratulations! Your password has been successfully reset. You can now log in to Wakelet using your updated credentials. Resetting Password for SSO Sign-Up (Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Apple, etc.): If you signed up for Wakelet using a Single Sign-On (SSO) provider like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, or Apple, you'll need to reset your password from the SSO site provider. Here are the general steps to reset your password: 1. Open your web browser and navigate to the website of the SSO provider you used to sign up for Wakelet (e.g., google.com, microsoft.com, facebook.com, etc.). 2. On the SSO provider's website, look for the sign-in or login section. 3. Click on the "Forgot password?" or a similar link/button provided by the SSO provider. 4. Follow the instructions provided by the SSO provider to reset your password. This might involve entering your email address, verifying your identity, or answering security questions. 5. Once you've successfully reset your password on the SSO provider's site, you can use your updated credentials to log in to Wakelet.
