Merging Accounts
If you have created a new Wakelet account and wish to move your content from an old account to the new one, we can help you merge these accounts. Follow the steps below to initiate the merging process:
- Send an email to our support team.
- In the email subject line, mention "Account Merge Request."
- In the body of the email, provide the following details:
- Your current username and email address associated with the new account.
- The username and email address of the old account from which you want to transfer the content.
- Clearly state that you want to merge the old account with the new one.
- Once our support team receives your email, they will review your request and perform the necessary actions.
- After the merging process is complete, the content from the old account will be transferred to the new account, and the old account will be permanently deleted.
- You will receive a confirmation email once the merging process is successfully completed.
Swapping Email on the Account
If you want to update the email address associated with your Wakelet account without merging content from another account, you can request an email swap. Here's how:
- Send an email to our support team from the email address currently attached to your Wakelet account.
- In the email subject line, mention "Email Swap Request."
- In the body of the email, include the following details:
- Your current username and email address associated with your Wakelet account.
- The email address you want to swap to (the new email address).
- Clearly state that you want to replace the current email address with the new one.
- Once our support team receives your email, they will review your request.
- If there is no content associated with the email address you want to swap to, our support team will update your account with the new email address.
- You will receive a confirmation email once the email swap is successfully completed.
Note: If there is content associated with the email address you want to swap to, please follow the instructions provided earlier for merging accounts instead.
