Wakelet and Accessibility

Everyone deserves the ability to save, curate and share. That's why we're dedicated to making Wakelet inclusive and accessible to all.

We've made a big step towards this by partnering with Microsoft to include Immersive Reader in Wakelet. An icon appears next to the description of each collection, as well as any notes within it, that can be clicked to bring up a text-to-speech reader.

In the future we will be adding more accessibility features and reviewing existing features that can be enhanced, for example better support for screen readers and alt text for images.

We'd like to say a big thank you to Wendy Torres, (@Tech_snacks on Twitter), as well as the rest of our community who continue to give us amazing feedback. Wendy has also produced these thorough accessibility score cards for our app and website:
